AN inquest into the death of a Kingswinford man who was found with cuts to his arms has been adjourned.
Robert Jones, aged 56, was found dead in his Ragees Road home on February 24 by his brother.
Black Country Coroners Court was told that Mr Jones, who had a long-standing diagnosis of mental illness, anxiety and depression, had cuts to his wrists and wounds to his torso, which investigators concluded were self-inflicted.
The court heard that there was nothing suspicious at the scene and no suicide note was present. A post mortem confirmed the cause of death as a haemorrhage due to a penetrating wound to Mr Jones’ right lung.
Due to inquiries still to be conducted, the inquest was adjourned until Tuesday, May 2.
