STRESSED-out Halesowen residents are set to benefit from the launch of a new aromatherapy clinic.
Blue Satin Life has opened on Peckingham Street and provides treatment to help relax mind, body and spirit.
Satin stands for ‘Spiritual Awareness Through Inner Nurturing’ – the mantra of owner Karen Dunham, who has dreamed of having her own spiritural centre for 10 years.
Karen hopes the centre will be a 'peaceful sanctuary' from everyday life. She said: “Having time to take 10 minutes out is crucial for our well-being.”
A range of different massages are available, all using Neals Yard oils.
The centre – which is open between 9.30am and 4.30pm Tuesday to Saturday – offers medium readings using angel cards that offer spiritual advice.
A session with two mediums where one writes messages from spirit and the other draws items guided by spirit is also available, while classes such as adult colouring, personal development and tai chi are held throughout the week.
