A MAN was sprayed in the face with an unknown substance and had his Audi stolen in a car jacking in Gornal.
The car jacking took place on Ruiton Street, Lower Gornal at around 10.10pm on June 3.
A police spokesperson said: "The driver of an Audi was sprayed in his face with an unknown substance by two men who took the keys and drove off.
"The victim was not seriously injured and did not require hospital treatment."
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service added: “We were called to reports of an assault. One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended. We have treated a man for minor injuries and he was discharged at the scene.”
