A BRAND new vegan festival is coming to the Black Country next month.

Buddha Bros. Vegan Festival takes place at the Himley Country Hotel on July 21 from 10am to 5pm and will showcase an assortment of vegan foods including freshly cooked Indian food, BBQ food, doughnuts, pastries, cakes and cheesecakes.

The all-day event will also include live music and stalls selling cruelty-free clothing, cosmetics, gifts and therapies.

The family friendly festival also offers fun for the little ones with face painting and a henna tattoo artist.

Organisers Cameron and Alex, said: "We would like to personally welcome everyone to Buddha Bros. Vegan Festival, regardless of whether you’re vegan or not. This is a fun, friendly day out with no extremism.

"Our planet cannot sustain our current meat consumption so it’s in everyone’s interest for us two cut down. Surely we want to leave our planet in great shape not only for ourselves but for future generations.

"Come and try the food, we’re sure you’ll love it we’ve carefully chosen all our food stalls to make sure they’re the highest quality. You really don’t need to sacrifice flavour by going vegan and you’ll be getting even more nutrients! The bar will be open and the musicians are fantastic, it all makes for a wonderful day.”
