BOMB disposal experts rushed to a Netherton after a shell was discovered in a garden.
Police were called to Spring Road yesterday afternoon (Sunday, November 17) following reports of the discovery of a suspected explosive device.
The team from the Bomb Disposal unit assessed and removed the shell from the garden before it was safely disposed of.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police said: "Police were called to an address on Spring Road in Netherton, Dudley, just after 1.30pm yesterday (Sunday 17 November) after a suspected explosive device was discovered.
"The Bomb Disposal unit assessed the device and removed the shell from the garden, before safely disposing of it."
