AROUND 200 children and parents attended a Lego workshop in Halesowen today (Wednesday).
The event, organised by Halesowen BID, was held in the Cornbow Centre.
BID manager Vicky Rogers said: "Halesowen Lego workshop was a great success and could not have been planned any better due to the current weather this half term holiday.
"It brought around 200 children and parents into the centre today.
"Families were invited to come along to the free event and discover their inner creative side."
The workshop kick started a calendar of events to be hosted in the town by Halesowen BID - upcoming events include a wedding fair on Saturday March 28, St Georges Day on Saturday April 25 and Halesowen Fòod and Arts Festival on Saturday May 16.
The Black Country Festival will return on Saturday June 27 and the urban beach will be back for the first two weeks of August.
Further events are also in the pipeline.
