AN eleventh man has been charged with burglary matters following a robbery at a suspected Brierley Hill cannabis farm that ended with two men being fatally shot with a crossbow.

Hisham Lewis was charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary in connection with the raid, which happened on Pensnett Road in February.

Lewis, aged 21, from Grove Lane, Selly Oak, was charged on Wednesday (May 20) and appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court this morning (May 21).

The development means a total of 11 men have now been charged with a range of burglary matters allegedly connected to the cannabis factory robbery.

Three men were previously charged with the murders of 19-year-old Khuzaimah Douglas and Waseem Ramzan, aged 36, who were shot during the aftermath of the Pensnett Road raid.

Saghawat Ramzan, aged 46, and his son Omar Ramzan, aged 23, have previously been charged with two counts murder and are in prison on remand.

Last month police charged a third man, Sageer Mohammed, aged 33, of Gorsty Avenue, Brierley Hill, with two counts of murder.

Police are continuing to investigate and have called for anyone with information to get in touch via Live Chat or by calling 101.
