HALESOWEN'S Cornbow Shopping Centre has announced plans to for the reopening of its shops on June 15.

The Cornbow has released plans on how it will adapt its current temporary Covid-19 regulations with longer term measures that will be in place by June 15 after the government announced all non-essential retailers can open from this date.

There will be a newly-created one-way system throughout the centre and signage in the form of posters and floor vinyls which will clearly guide customers to allow for social distancing.

Other regulations will include a cap on capacity within the centre; with only one member of any household permitted in at one time, unless that customer requires support from another member of the family.

The centre will observe a consistent flow of pedestrian traffic with waiting points clearly marked outside stores.

Eve O'Connor, Centre Manager said: "Customers will only visit places where they feel safe and our customer's health and safety is our number one priority.

"We will continue to work with our staff, retailers and customers to provide a new normal that will allow our customers access to the brands and services they know and love'

"These operational changes will be regularly reviewed and we will continue to follow guidance from the government and the retail sector. Our aim; as always, is to provide an excellent service to our customers as safely as possible."
