A MAN accused of making two bomb hoax calls to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley has been told he must remain in custody.
A bail application on behalf of 43-year-old Halesowen man Norman Taylor was refused by Judge James Burbidge QC at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Taylor, of Spiral Close, has denied the two charges and his trial is scheduled to start on February 15 next year.
The court was told Taylor has maintained he ran a business dealing with incidents involving ransom, kidnap and terrorism - and his barrister said that because of his experience dealing with bombs he had gone to the hospital to assist.
But the judge ruled Taylor would have to stay behind bars until his trial when a jury will hear all the evidence in his case.
