A CRITICALLY-acclaimed author and BBC Radio 4 presenter will be giving a talk at Kingswinford Library next week.

Natalie Haynes will be at the library in Market Street on Thursday September 7 to give a talk on her latest novel, The Children of Jocasta, from 7pm.

The book is the author’s second novel.

Her first, The Amber Fury, was published to great acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic as was her previous book, The Ancient Guide to Modern Life.

Natalie is also a regular contributor to Radio 4, reviewing for Front Row and Saturday Review and appearing as a team captain on three seasons of Wordaholics.

A second series of her own show, Natalie Haynes Stands Up For The Classics, is set to be broadcast next year.

Fans will be able to question the author after the talk, have books signed and have their picture taken with Natalie.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Friends of Kingswinford and Wordsley Libraries.

Tickets cost £2 per person and include refreshments which will be served from 6.30pm.
