PICTURES by a Kingswinford photographer form part of Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust’s very first open exhibition.

Entries poured in from local artists and among those being showcased are photographs by News Group freelance photographer Lisa Bedi.

Organised to celebrate creative people from a diverse range of practices, backgrounds and subjects, the exhibition runs until Monday September 18.

Holly Wain, heritage activities assistant at Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust, said: “We’re amazed by the entries to our open exhibition. We have such a brilliant range of works which really do celebrate the creative talents of our local community.

“We hope visitors come to support this exhibition and enjoy the fantastic display.”

The exhibition features a vast array of artworks created with pencils, chalks, watercolours, oils and acrylics plus photographs (portraiture, landscapes and everyday snaps) as well as knitted and crocheted pieces, embroidery and hand-quilted items.

Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust is located in Birmingham New Road, Dudley.
