A STOURBRIDGE road is set to be closed for two months, residents and motorists are being warned.

Dudley Council is closing a large section of Racecourse Lane between March 20 and May 12 to allow Complete Utilities Ltd, working on behalf Amey, to carry out essential water quality works.

The road will be closed between its junctions with Norton Road and Outney John Lane.

A council spokeswoman said cars will be diverted along Norton Road, Heath Lane, Hagley Road, Worcester Lane and vice-versa, and access to the frontages during the closure will be “maintained where safe to do so”.
