YOUNGSTERS at Pedmore Technology College and Community School banged on about cultural differences when they took part in a drumming workshop courtesy of musician Mark Robertson.
The professional musician and drumming expert stopped off at the Grange Lane school as part of a colourful cultural festival, organised to celebrate the cultures, food, music, traditions and languages of other countries Principal David Kemp said the drumming sessions, held before Easter, complemented studies on Brazilian and Jamaican cultures and they added an “exciting edge” to the festival which also included dance performances, presentations and food tasting activities.
