DUDLEY'S Mayor is hoping his annual charity cricket match will raise plenty of cash for good causes.
The event, now in its tenth year, it set to take place at Stourbridge Cricket Ground, High Street, Amblecote, tonight (Friday August 11) - starting at 6pm.
Teams of six comprising Dudley Council officers, councillors and charities will go head-to-head in a series of games - with all proceeds going to the Mayor of Dudley’s charities – Dudley Mind, YMCA and Dudley Alzheimer’s Society.
Councillor Dave Tyler, Mayor of Dudley, said: “The annual cricket match is always a lot of fun and also a great way to raise money for three worthy causes.
“Stourbridge Cricket Club is a fabulous venue for the game and we very much appreciate their support for these charities."
Specatators are welcome.
