A SUSPECTED thief allegedly armed with a Rambo knife was stopped in his tracks by a quick-witted police pooch.
West Midlands Police revealed on Twitter how super-sharp police dog Ellis caught a man wanted in connection with serious assault and theft incidents.
After police were called to an address in Stourbridge - the ebony coloured German Shepherd sniffed out the suspect as he allegedly attempted to escape through the back door.
