STOURBRIDGE family history group Midland Ancestors is hosting another talk later this month.
Speaker Wendy Larmour will present a talk on 'Louis Etienne Goule and a Threadbare Wellington Quilt’ at St Peter's Church Centre, Pedmore Lane, Pedmore, on Tuesday September 18.
She will be talking about how the finding of an old auction sale notice during the refurbishment of an inglenook fireplace eventually led to a search for proof that Goule was the anonymous subject of a Worcester village’s folklore..
The talk starts at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7pm for refreshments. Entry is free.
