STOURBRIDGE'S branch of Vets4Pets is hosting a canine massage therapy evening later this month.

The event featuring Hannah Walker from Phoenix Canine Clinical Massage Therapy will take place at the Stourbridge veterinary surgery on Amblecote High Street on Thursday September 20 at 7.30pm.

Veterinary nurse Sarah Farris, of Vets4Pets, said: "It's an evening to educate clients and the general public with dogs on the benefits of canine massage - whether it be after a long strenuous walk or for early detection of problems and alternative methods of treatment instead of or alongside medications provided by the vets."

Dog owers interested in attending are asked to take along a stuffed animal/cuddly toy with limbs on to practice on.

Hannah, the speaker, will be bringing along a real dog to demonstrate the technique.

Anyone interested in attending the event can contact the surgery on 01384 370765 or email stourbridge@vets4pets.com.
