A STOURBRIDGE skin health clinic has celebrated winning a top beauty industry award.

Reflect Skin and Body Clinic in Victoria Passage won the Aesthetic Professionals of the Year 2019 award at the Midlands Beauty Industry Awards 2019.

The awards, held at The Holiday Inn at Birmingham Airport on October 20, celebrate the hard work of the best professionals and businesses in the aesthetics and beauty sector in the Midlands region and Lisa Evans Reid, clinical director at Reflect, said of the win: "It’s a big deal for us after six years of hard work.

"We owe it to our customers who voted for us and the fact that we are quite unique - we don’t offer injectables, such as botox and fillers, we are a skin health and rejuvenating clinic and we have clients who travel from Italy, France, Cornwall, Yorkshire and Cardiff.

"We are a small team but have been able to offer two apprentices full-time jobs as well."

She said the clinic would once again be taking part in the annual Christmas handbag campaign, organised by Stourbridge group Survivors of Domestic Abuse (SODA), which asks people to fill handbags with toiletries to give to those who leave relationships without basic essentials.

The salon has acted as a donation station for the appeal and Lisa said: "We always do our bit to help. It's the fifth year now and we get clients asking us we we are starting."
