The February meeting was opened by Chairman of the day Liz Hubbard who welcomed members and visitors. The minutes of the previous meeting, prepared by secretary Liz Moseley, were signed and Rosemary Skidmore, treasurer, gave details of the finances to date.

Rosemary also encouraged members to purchase the TG badge and then presented a cheque from the Community Centre’s 200 club to a delighted winner.

Federation Report: A trip to Liverpool on April 30 is arranged leaving Stourbridge at 8.30am returning 5pm. Cost of £21 includes coach and entrance to two churches.

The Inter Guild Quiz is on June 1 at the Stourbridge Football Club premises.

Guilds can enter two teams and take up to four observers. Liz read out a list of Federation annual activities to ascertain member’s preference. The Federation are seeking a new venue for the Annual Lunch as the usual venue has closed. The Birthday Lunch is at Himley Country Hotel on April 27, cost £10.95 payable at the March meeting preferably by cheque. A coffee morning is on March 11 at the home of Pat Hadley. Barbara Taylor gave details of a musical performed by TAB, ‘Summer Holiday’ at Brierley Hill Civic Hall on Saturday March 28 matinee at 2pm £12.
