Wollaston Gardener's Guild
The meeting on March 21 was opened by Chairman, Adam Greathead who welcomed all including our speakers, Rob & Dane Cole.
Adam reminded members that we would be making an evening visit to the Cole’s garden in June & places could be booked this evening. He then presented John Knight with several trophies from the Annual & monthly shows as he had not been present at the Presentation Supper.
Adam had fliers for the open gardens starting in April when all donations will go to Dudley Mind.
Liz Hathway, Secretary, gave the date of Kidderminster Morgan Shield Quiz & told members that as we have not been able to find another team to join in this will probably be the last year for the Quiz which has been running since 1967 & there will be just 3 rounds.
Adam then introduced Rob & Diane who, with the aid of beautiful slides, showed us their garden & then the Alpine collection that is their speciality, I think we are looking forward even more to our visit in June now. Theit talk was ‘Alpines for Everyone’ & they had brought some plants for members to purchase.
