The members held their monthly meeting at Stourbridge Institute on 19th June which was chaired by Adam Greathead. He opened the meeting by welcoming both existing, new members, visitors, and the speaker for the night Bob Brown of Cotswold Garden Flowers.
Bob had come along from his nursery at Badsey, in the Cotswolds, and brought along a lovely array of unusual plants to sell, Bob's talk was entitled "My best 30 plants" which he described in detail, with the aid of a slide show. His talk was delivered with a very dry sense of humour, and the plants described comprised of some well known to members, and some quite unusual varieties. The talk concluded with the plant sale, which quickly disappeared from the table.
Adam thanked Bob for a most engrossing talk, and the members responded in the usual manner.
