Wollaston Gardeners Guild

The members held their monthly meeting at Stourbridge Institute on July 17 which was chaired by Adam Greathead. He opened the meeting by welcoming both existing, new members, visitors, and said he would like to thank Anne and Paul Robinson for opening their garden on Clockfields Estate on July 16 which raised a substantial amount for local charity "No Limits" based in Oldswinford, who give help and support for those living with autism. Adam said visitors were able to stroll round a fabulous garden and then enjoy home made cakes and beverages.

The evening was a departure from the normal being a social event when members were entertained by Maggie O'Hara, a lady with a lovely voice who presented a range of songs, some garden orientated, and many sing along favourites from times gone by. During the interval a splendid buffet was produced by Jenny James with the help of some of the ladies of the Guild, for which Adam thanked them. This was an excellent evening which was enjoyed by all the members.

At the end of the evening Adam thanked Maggie for a wonderful night.
