WORDSLEY Festival is set to take place this weekend (Saturday July 15).

Organisers of the popular summer fun day have once again joined forces with the Black Country Festival to put on the event in King George V Park, Bells Lane, Wordsley.

The family-friendly bash will kick off at around 11.30am and will include a dog show, wrestling, keep fit displays, birds of prey, wildlife display, a host of song and dance displays and charity stalls – plus the Thomas Jones fun fair.

As part of the Black Country Festival – there will also be a speciality market selling homemade produce, street food as well as crafts, antiques and vintage items.

Admission to this year’s festival is free.
