AN elderly woman who died after being knocked down by a delivery van in Wordsley has been named as Phyllis May Fielding.
Phyllis, aged 88, died on Friday September 8 after the collision in Lawnswood Road which happened at around 1.15pm.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics, but despite their best efforts she later died in hospital.
The driver stopped at the scene and has been assisting the police with their investigation.
Her heartbroken family said: “We are utterly devastated to have lost our loving mom, nan and great-nan in such tragic circumstances."
