The Great British Bake Off is set to return for a new series with judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith alongside hosts Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas.
The show returning was teased last week with a tweet which said: “Loaf is in the air… The Great British Bake Off. Coming Soon. #GBBO” It had a short video of the Bake Off tent coming into view.
Today a tweet from British Bake Off’s account confirmed that we can expect the upcoming series to air on September 21. It will be shown on Channel 4 at 8pm.
The tweet said: “Bake a date in your diaries – we’re back! #GBBO”

Great British Bake Off sees contestants compete in baking challenges set by the judges who inspect the final results. There is also a celebrity version of the show which sees stars take up baking.
