CLENT youngsters received a cracking Easter treat thanks to shoppers in Amblecote and Brierley Hill.
Sainsbury’s supermarkets in Amblecote and Merry Hill joined forces to run an Easter egg appeal in aid of Sunfield Children’s Home.
More than 170 chocolate eggs were donated to the home on Woodman Lane, which supports youngsters aged between six and 19, with complex learning needs, including autism.
Ian Jones, Sunfield’s director of appeals and development, said: “We would like to thank Sainsbury’s customers for the Easter eggs.
"As most of our students live at Sunfield for 52 weeks of the year, many remain at Sunfield over the Easter period, so we are grateful for this kind gesture.”
