A STOURBRIDGE opticians has a bright idea to support the town’s Christmas festivities.
Staff from the High Street branch of Specsavers will be handing out 150 high visibility vests to children to while they sing carols and enjoy the lights switch on event tomorrow (Saturday November 29) to keep them safe and visible.
The team will also talk about eyecare and hand out free sight test vouchers and spectacle cases.
The festivities will be replicated on Sunday (November 30) at Wall Heath’s Christmas lights switch-on.
Jason Bridgewater, store director, said: “We’re delighted to be playing a part in the town’s special Christmas celebrations.
“It’s a small gesture, but the vests will help to keep local children safe and more visible at the event and when they’re out and about over the winter months.”
