KINVER has a European Irish dance champion in their midst after Molly Higgins claimed the Under-16 title in Germany.
The 15-year-old who attends Kinver High School beat dancers from around the world over four days of gruelling competition in Dusseldorf to be crowned champion.
Molly already holds the Scottish title and is now ranked fifth in the world, she will put her new found success on the line in June when she travels to the All Ireland Championships in Limerick.
Molly competes for the Katie Collins School of Irish Dance which is based in Kinver and Kidderminster.
It's the second time the school has produced a European champion, Hollie-Mae Titley having achieved the feat two years ago.
