A LORRY which caught fire earlier this morning (February 8) at junction 3 of the M42 in Portway has been put out by the fire service.
The fire caused major traffic problems with the A435 being closed, and heavy traffic on the road heading southbound from Wythall.
Two fire Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue crews from Redditch Fire Station were called to the scene at about 4.30am.
The crews used four breathing apparatus and three hose reels to extinguish the large blaze.
