A SERIES of free exhibitions are heading to Kinver as part of the library’s new role as a community hub.
The first of these was launched today (Monday, February 1), featuring the stunning photography of Steve Parkes and is taking place until Monday, February 27.
Exhibits range from landscapes to military jets training at low level, and also include pets, equine studies, wildlife studies and portraits.
A number of pieces in Steve’s collection which will be on display is for sale, with a percentage of profits going to library funds.
Kinver Community Library is now run by a voluntary group after Staffordshire County Council decided to delegate responsibility for a the Vicarage Drive venue to the public.
Staff are aiming to make the library a hub for the community by including a café and a wide range of interest groups and activities for people of all ages.
For more information about any of the activities taking place at Kinver Community Library, visit kinvercommunitylibrary.co.uk, or call 01384 872348.
