A FAST food restaurant manager lost a tooth after being attacked by a man who was asked to leave for spitting on the floor.

The police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to identify and speak with in relation to the incident at McDonald’s in Blackpole Road, Worcester.

The male suspect was asked to leave the restaurant after spitting on the floor at 8pm on Sunday, September 23, before striking the manager, police have said.

Staff called the police following the attack, but the suspect fled the scene before officers could arrive.

PC Mark Slade, of West Mercia Police, said: “This was a serious assault causing an injury to the manager, and we are keen to talk to the man in the CCTV as soon as possible.”
