A major donation from a building company has meant that Worcestershire pupils are now enjoying their school play times even more.

Cameron Homes has handed over a £2,500 cheque to Pinvin CE First School.

The school has used the money to completely resurface their playground over the summer holidays.

Bex Chatterton, head of school, expressed her thanks for the financial boost.

She said: “Pinvin Federation of Schools are very grateful indeed for the generous donation received from Cameron Homes.

“As it was made before the summer holiday, we were able to complete the playground re-surfacing and re-marking project in time for when the children returned to school at the beginning of September.

“The pupils have been absolutely thrilled to see and enjoy their new playground environment.

“Playtimes have been enriched for all our children thanks to the help from Cameron Homes,” she added.

Cameron is building 40 new properties at the Hayfields development in Upton Snodsbury Road in Pinvin, near to the school.
