ARTRIX theatre is promising a 'show-stopping' spread of cakes at its first ever Macmillan Coffee Morning.
On Friday, September 28 from 9am, the Slideslow Drive arts centre will be selling homemade cakes and hot drinks to raise money for the cancer charity.
Artrix duty manager Prue Babb said: "Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity close to the hearts of many of the staff at Artrix.
"We’re hoping our coffee morning will be full of star bakes and show-stopping cakes and that we can raise lots of money for this wonderful charity.
"Throughout the morning there will be games to take part in and prizes to be won. Everyone is welcome."
Any bakers able to donate cakes to the coffee morning are urged to email pruebabb@artrix.co.uk.
