WORCESTERSHIRE looks set to miss the worst of Storm Callum.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of rain for North East England, North West England, South West England, and an amber warning for heavy rain has been issued for most of south Wales.
The Met Office warnings run from the early hours of Friday into Saturday, but as yet the Midlands have avoided the warnings.
Heavy rain, and gusty wind are forecast during that period though, according to the Met Office.
Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, tweeted: "Some very large rainfall totals appearing on forecast models for Friday into Saturday for parts of Wales.
"We’ll be monitoring closely for possible impacts on the Severn."
