The Chipping Norton Music Festival returns for another year of eclectic performances.

Richard Wood, organiser said: "It is primarily aimed at children up to the age of 18. They get to perform in front of an audience in a non competitive way and have a professional adjudicator critique them on what they can do to improve. It is good for the children, it gives them a chance to stand up in front of an audience and it is good to see young children performing."

"It includes schools from around the area"

"There will also be professional concerts with professional musicians on stage in the town hall. It is these concerts that pay for the whole festival as that is where the income is from."

The folk night will also take place except this year it will be held the at the Chequers pub in Chipping Norton.

Mr Wood said: "Anybody can come along, the performance will also be professionally adjudicated."

Chipping Norton Music Festival takes place from Friday, March 8 until Saturday, March 23.
