A MAN was taken to hospital after the car he was in crashed into a tree.
After hitting the tree, the car overturned onto its roof on the A4104 Defford Road, at around 12.15am this morning.
Small tools were used by firefighters to free the casualty from the vehicle, before being assessed at the scene by paramedics.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said as the patient was suffering from multiple injuries, the decision was taken, to take him to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Police, one ambulance and firefighters from Pershore and Evesham attended the crash.
