CARING Catshill kids have donated their old football kits to a charity that helps some of the world's poorest children.

The squad of Catshill Blues under-11s have given their old outfits to Kit Aid.

Manager, Mark Tomkinson said: "We asked the lads what they wanted to do with the old kit and after a few days this worthy charity was suggested and one of our parents sorted it all for us.

"We hope it helps underprivileged children in some of the world’s poorest places love football as much as we do."

The Blues will play next season in a new kit thanks to generous sponsorship from Bromsgrove Body Repairs, The Car Lot, J B Engineering and Chiltern Railways.

They were one of the winners of the Central Warwickshire Youth Football Winter Cups last season and are looking to add players to their successful squad.
