ANIMAL lovers are invited to a fun dog show for charity later this month.

The annual RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch Novelty Dog Show will be held at the branch headquarters at The Holdings, Holdings Lane, Broomhall,

Kempsey.

There will be lots of interesting stalls, plus refreshments, tombola, grand raffle and music from Worcester Ukulele Club.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "Please come and support us and enjoy the day as we raise much-needed funds for the care of our animals and our on-going animal welfare work."

The event on Sunday, June 30, runs from 10.30am until 4pm, with judging taking place from 11am.

Categories include best puppy, dog most like its owner, best handler and best in show.

Entry is £2 per class and rosettes will be awarded up to fourth place. Field parking is available at £1 per car.

Another branch fundraising event, One Fun Day, was a big success on Sunday.

Mrs Haynes said: "Luckily the rain stayed away most of the day and people were able to shelter under the marquee when we had a very heavy shower at lunchtime.

"We did well with our new on-site shop and hopefully now more people will know about it."
