POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in relation to stolen bank cards that were used in Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

Police believe a man entered a black Jeep which was parked on Foxcote in Andoversford between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on June 6, and stole the victim's backpack which contained her purse.

He left in a red Ford Focus, with a partial registration of CA14, and went on to use a contactless debit card and credit card at a number of shops and petrol stations in Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, purchasing over £300 worth of sim cards, top-up cards and scratch cards.

Officers have issued CCTV images as they would like to identify the man pictured.

They are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage of the theft taking place, or further information in connection to the registration of the Ford Focus.
