THREE men who carried out a series of burglaries at homes in Worcestershire and the West Midlands have been jailed.

The trio, who pleaded guilty to a number offences at Worcester Crown Court on July 29, were sentenced to a total of more than 14 years in prison.

The offences relate to a series of burglaries and vehicle thefts that took place at homes in Hagley, Bromsgrove, Cannock and Wednesbury between November 23 and December 10, 2018.

Hakim Aziz, aged 21, of Nicholls Street, West Bromwich, admitted one count of attempted burglary of a home, two counts of burglary of a home and theft of a motor vehicle, plus one count of handling stolen goods.

He was sentenced to five years and six months in prison, disqualified from driving for 18 months and ordered to take an extended re-test.

Bran Lloyd, aged 21, of Hurst Lane, Tipton, admitted one count of attempted burglary of a home and one count of burglary of a home and theft of a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison.

Ashleigh Hammond, aged 23, of High Street, West Bromwich, admitted one count of attempted burglary of a home and two counts of burglary of a home and theft of a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to four years and six months in prison, disqualified from driving for two years and ordered to take an extended re-test.
