A MAN in his 80s remains in hospital after a serious crash in Waterside, Evesham.
The incident happened yesterday morning, (August 17), at around 11.20am, with the black VW Polo hitting the pedestrian.
A West Mercia Police statement said: "The pedestrian, a man in his late 80s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.

"Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision.
Readers reported seeing emergency services in the area, including an air ambulance that reported landed on a car park nearby.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Dan Mandic at West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 279S.
