THOUSANDS of visitors flocked to Morton Stanley Festival this year to see a mix of incredible headline acts and local performers.
The free festival, hailed a huge success, saw 90s chart toppers Republica take top billing.
Between 1996 and 1999, Republica sold an incredible three million albums and clinched top five slots in the UK, America and Europe with platinum sales across the globe, while their hit single ‘Ready to Go’ soared to number one in many countries.
Other headline acts included renowned tribute bands; Skabucks, and Pure Queen, as well as Indie singer/songwriter Ryan Sparrow.
The headline acts were supported by hours of fantastic music by local bands and performers of all genres including many up-and-coming artists from Redditch.
The event was also the most diverse yet with the return of the food festival.
The festival featured mini food stalls providing a wide variety of different foods such as Desi Grill.
