A MEMORIAL service for the late headmaster of The King’s School Worcester will be held on Monday, October 21.
The memorial for Matthew Armstrong will take place at Worcester Cathedral for both the King’s community and anyone else who wishes to pay their respects.
Mr Armstrong died on August 11, aged 48, after suffering a pulmonary embolism.
Paying tribute, Jon Ricketts, acting King's headmaster, said: “Matthew was a passionate and visionary headmaster and was well respected by pupils, parents and his colleagues.
"We are all working to support each other, the wider King’s community and Matthew’s family through this sad time."
Mr Armstrong served as a member of the Cathedral Council and was a supporter of the choir.
