SEVEN steers were rescued from a river near Bromyard last night.
Firefighters from Tenbury, Worcester and Bromyard worked together after the cattle walked into the River Teme.
A spokesperson from Bromyard Fire Station said crews used their 'powers of persuasion' and 'some food' before the animals were helped out of the water.
The steers were then 'happily reunited with their fellow friends in the field,' the spokesman added.
