WOULD you like a bowling alley or ice rink in the town centre?

Do you live in an area that desperately needs a good clean?

Well, now is the time to tell Redditch Council.

A wide-ranging survey that helps inform Redditch Borough Council’s thinking for the year ahead has launched.

The annual Community Survey asks residents for their views and opinions about issues affecting them, their local area, and borough council services.

The results are then reported to members and officers of the council.

Cllr David Thain, redditch borough council’s portfolio holder for corporate management, said: “Listening to what our residents tell us is crucially important to us, and this annual survey is one of the ways we do that.

"It’s a window into what people in Redditch think about a range of issues and we’d like to hear from you.”

Cllr Matt Dormer, Leader of the Council, added: “I hope lots of people take part and contribute to the results.

"Just this month the results of the last survey were part of top-table policy discussions as we plan for the future. It all helps to understand how people in Redditch are thinking.”

The 2019 survey is available for anyone to take part at www.redditchbc.gov.uk/consultations, and will also go before the council’s community panel, a group of residents who choose to actively take part in regular engagement sessions.

The closing date for responses is midnight on Sunday 29 September 2019.

It covers a range of areas and should take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete, with the option to 'save and continue' if people want to take a break while filling it in.
