FIREFIGHTERS were called to a field near Tenbury where several hay bales and stubble were burning.
Crews from Tenbury, Ludlow and Leominster were sent to tackle the blaze on Sunday afternoon.
The fire, near Greenhill Close, involved around 50sqm of stubble and six hay bales.
Two beaters, two water backpacks and a hose reel were used to extinguish the fire, and the farmer used a tractor to spread the bales.
