TRANSITION Malvern Hills, which campaigns for action on climate change, is holding an evening of talks for those who want to find out more about the issue.

The event, at Malvern Cube, Albert Road North, will feature two speakers from Transition Malvern Hills.

Ian Caldwell will outline the current situation and ask how the increase in global temperature impact on people's lives here in the UK.

Robin Coates will look at how we assess our impact on the planet, and how we can make changes in our lives to cut down carbon emissions.

Their talks will be followed by one from Jenna Higgins on agriculture and carbon and, how by using regenerative agriculture and agroecology methods, we can have a new system of farming that has positive effects on soil and biodiversity.

There will be an opportunity for discussions, and a question-and-answer session.

Ginny Lee of the group said: "Transition Malvern Hills has been campaigning and promoting a low-carbon lifestyles in Malvern for over 10 years. We have grown and supported new low-carbon initiatives over that time which are now in place throughout the district."

The event is on Monday, October 14, at 8pm. Entry is free, though donations will be welcome.
