A MAN was taken to hospital after concerns for his welfare were reported to police.
An ambulance and three police cars were parked in Droitwich Road, Worcester, including one in the Texaco petrol station forecourt, this morning.
An eyewitness said police officers were talking to a man at the back of Murray's Pharmacy, and were partially obstructing the road.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called by the police at 8.57am to concerns for the welfare of a man on Droitwich Road. One ambulance attended and assessed one man who has since been conveyed to hospital for further checks."
