A CRASH between two cars has partially blocked a main road in Herefordshire and two people in their 70s taken to hospital.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said a crew came across the crash on the A417 between Leominster and Burley Gate at 2.45pm this afternoon (Monday).

Four people are believed to be involved, but the two ambulance crews who were at the scene outside Saffron's Cross Garage only treated two patients.

A spokesperson for the service said a man and a woman, both in their 70s, have been taken to Hereford County Hospital for further assessment.
