FOODIES are in for a treat at the Alcester Food Festival this Saturday.
There will be cheeses, pies, breads, fresh and cured meats, fruit and vegetables, a pig roast and plenty of award-winning street food.
Those with a sweet tooth can also enjoy cakes and handmade chocolates, while there will be refreshments including local beers, ciders and wines.
A spokesman said: "So for a perfect foodie day out, forage through the food festival stalls, plan meals at local pubs, cafes and restaurants and just have a good time. Even do your weekly shopping.
"All the fresh food shops will be open, supplemented by the exhibitors. No traffic nearby and come and enjoy yourself.
"We advise dog owners not to bring their pets to the Food Festivals as the streets become very congested and can cause distress to the dogs. If you have to bring your dog, please use a short lead and do not forget to 'pooper-scoop'."

The event takes place on Alcester High Street Saturday, October 19 from 9am to 5pm.
